Kuwait - R&R 2

Kuwait is a very westernized mideast country. It is extremely HOT there ~ I think hotter than Iraq. Although you see some women with their faces veiled, most of the women we saw were wearing clothes just like they wear in the states. People of Kuwait are very friendly. Chris and I had a day of shopping in Kuwait which was a necessity before traveling to Rome and taking our cruise. We had nothing but jeans and cargo pants to wear - so we were in dire need of dress clothes for our cruise. They have several malls in Kuwait and we thouroughly enjoyed our day of shopping. We visited Hard Rock Cafe as well as the Kuwait Towers. We stayed at the Crown Plaza which was much nicer than the communal tents that were offered free of charge by the military - lol.
