I recently returned from Iraq where I was employeed as a Marine Corp contractor - working in the Al Anbar Province -
mostly at Camp Fallujah. I worked with a computer program called BAT (Biometric Automated Toolset). Life out there is an adventure.
Just another chapter in the Adventurous Book of Life :)

I was born in West Virginia, but the coastline lured me to Virginia. I went to school to become a theraputic massage therapist
and worked at a healthclub in Norfolk VA for awhile. Then I decided I much preferred being on the massage table myself :)
I worked for Norfolk Public Schools in the Early Childhood Special Education Program. My heart was stolen by many wonderful
preschoolers with special needs. I was married in the Washington DC Temple in 1993 and moved aboard a 30' Columbia Sloop
rig sailboat for 9 months. We later purchased a bigger 46' houseboat we affectionately named "Paper Moon". We
lived on the water until December 98 when we moved to Alabama where I worked as a resident manager at an apartment complex
for the mentally ill. My heart was once again stolen by my residents that I cared for. We returned to VA in 2000, where
we enjoyed the sand and salt water ~ this time, I started a career in real estate - which quickly became my passion. Then,
in 2004, we once again moved BACK to Alabama ~ where I chose the option of being a "kept" woman. This lasted for
only a few months and I became restless. I began working one day a week at a helpdesk at the RedStone Arsenal in Huntsville.
In 2005 - we headed to Iraq. I now work a minimum of 12 hours a day and am surrounded by testosterone and computer geeks.
Now that is an interesting combination :)
My friends are living in my house, swimming in my pool, and loving my dog while I am out here in the kitty litter box
and residing in a 12X11 room in a trailer.... Where did I go wrong? LOL
I love the beach. I love the water ~ any water! Oceans, Lakes, Rivers, Creeks, Bathtubs... The thing I miss most about
the states is entertaining! I love to have parties. I love to have cookouts, pool parties and dinner parties. Our home
is party central :) I love to have a bunch of people over to shoot pool or play games. Our home is happier when it is filled
with the laughter of friends.
I like to camp, canoe, kayak, hike and just be outdoors. Even if it is just to mow the grass or pull some weeds ~ I love
being outside.
My other hobbies include snorkling, flying power kites, floating on a raft in my pool, scrapbookking, stamping, and swimming.
And of course my life would not be complete with out all my wonderful family.... My awesome, fantistic, loving hubby... and
all my extended family.... I have 24 wonderful nieces and nephews who are the cutest kids in the world! And guess what ~
they have stolen my heart :)
